The Philadelphia International Festival of the Arts (PIFA) is a first-time, $10 million event kicking off April 7, 2011 and continuing to May 1, 2011. There will be 135 events featuring 1,500 artists over 25 days. There’s everything from ballet to the circus arts, to book readings, to jazz and much much more. There are 30 commissioned works — more than one a day. Find more information and follow the action via their Facebook page. (Image: from Green Fairy Cabaret. See their very cool video here.)
