A Super Moon Shone Over Our Favorite Cities

bahrainLast night, the Super Moon wowed spectators the world over, capturing incredible photographs of the rare event. From Bahrain to San Francisco, these are some of our favorite snapshots of the moon from our favorite cities.

supermoon sydneyThe Super moon, shown above over the shores of Sydney, is pretty rare, and occurs when the moon appears brighter due to its orbiting the Earth 30,000 miles closer than usual.  The moon peaked early Sunday and was the largest of 2014.
