Whitney Museum, Stunning Attraction for Gay Travelers

IMG_4581The new Whitney Museum is a masterpiece. The building is cool in an industrial sort of way with drop-dead views from multiple outdoor spaces and well-placed windows; big open spaces housing some of the world’s greatest modern art; and several places to pick up cute, artsy gifts or have some very good food, wine or coffee.

And it was built over the southernmost entrance of the High Line, elevated park in the heart of the Meatpacking district with its chic boutiques, cool restaurants, hip hotels and animal slaughterhouses! It does’t get better than this. Check it out at your first opportunity, especially to see the current exhibit, TK, which has taken over the entire museum.
